Gentlemen,

I am sure your comments are posted sincerely and a discussion about new members and the future of the forum is indeed a very good idea and something in which I would gladly participate. However, as there seems to be a likelyhood of it becoming somewhat factionalised and possibly heated I would deem it a favour if you would please start a new thread, rather than using one under my name.

Cheers John

Sorry about that John, I've had my say so it's end of matter. . I encourage anyone after this point tp start up a different thread as John said.

Sandman Intro moved to correct thread.

Appologies to John Chapman for a blatant Hi-Jack of his intro.

No harm intended John, I make these gaffs occasionally as the members will tell you.

Thanks guys, but yes. I'm 58.

I wish I were 10 years younger. I just wish I'd taken up this hobby ten years ago. In the past 6 to 8 months I've had more fun, met more friends and learned more about steam than I ever have before.

Looking forward to the next ten years.

You do indeed look younger than 58 SM, would never have said 58

Good to hear SM, it's an interesting hobby for us all! and these forums have helped us on our quest
