Thats probably why they were originally too tall, if someone used it and all the meths poured out then they'd be knocking on the door of IP engineering.

wouldn't matter though it would take 2-3 weeks for them to answer it

Tried it out last night, and it was deffinatley improved it, still not as good as the other one but better. Perhaps it would of helped if I'd not had my camera out! I'll try it again later, without my camera at hand !

I'm quite certain this has improved my loco, as I was running it again about an hour ago, and it was mutch better than it has been. Perhaps I should recomend to I.P that they construct the next batch shorter.

Hmmmm.
Your tempting me to lop of about 3mm from the top of my burners too, still yet to reach the scale 100mph speed with my SL2 and this may help me to get closer.
