Nearly D-Day again!

My favorite day of the second world war.

I'd love to go to Normandy, to the beaches and see where it all happened and that.

They died for our freedom, so I hereby ask for a minute of none posting on Wednesday June 6th at 6pm GMT to remember what they did for us.

Just reminded me of my last trip to France James, I posted 3 quick reports on another forum I belong to if your interested, I think James will like them, or anybody who has/or wants to tour the Normandy beaches.

Unfortunately, the links seem to open the threads at the bottom, so you'll just have to scroll up a wee bit

D-Day tour (Part 1)

D-Day tour (Part 2)

D-Day tour (Part 3)

Cheers,

TSC.

You don't have to do it like, but it would be nice if people would.

I'll make this thread a Global Announcement, and then after the minutes "silence" I will take it down.

A minute before I will put up a post saying it is about to start, and one after that saying it is finished

Yeah. I thought I might not be able to manage to do it all in 1 minute, the forum shutting down ness, so it will be for 5 minutes. Giving up 5 minutes is nothing compared to giving up your life.

THE FORUM WILL BE SHUT DOWN FROM 6PM GMT TO 6:05PM GMT

Thanks for your co-operation
