Very, as I typed that I thought "maybe I shouldn't have said that" By the way James, is that a dead body in your signature?

SM, as per usual you've cheered me up with one of your jokes

A bascule bridge, a couple of mile from my house. It was used for training the troops that attacked Pegasus Bridge.
After it's recent restoration costing well over £2 milliion, they lifted it last week & it got stuck in the up position. It stayed up for almost a week, until they could get a crane large enough to lower it. The Bascule (lifting part) was replaced in the early 70's to cope with modern traffic

Yeah. I thought I might not be able to manage to do it all in 1 minute, the forum shutting down ness, so it will be for 5 minutes. Giving up 5 minutes is nothing compared to giving up your life.

THE FORUM WILL BE SHUT DOWN FROM 6PM GMT TO 6:05PM GMT

Thanks for your co-operation

Any idea what time that is over here in TX?

I've got no problem with remembering, I take part in the remembrance parade every year and I have visited the Western Front on many occasions, I have a great interest in the two World Wars.
I dont think you should have written "My Favourite Day" James, perhaps the most interesting day would have been better.
Could I put in a request that we do a similar thing either on 11/11 or Remembrance Sunday or both?
