Got all of my Meccano lots today. I think these must be one of the best buys on ebay. For very little money I bought a few job lots and the return on my investment was tremendous.

I now have all the spindles, pulleys, cogs, cams, worm drives, gears, tools and wheels I could ever need, along with a mass of plates and other parts too many to mention. I even got a ratchet drive among them. O.K. they may have a bit of paint missing here and there but as they were bought simply for fun, who cares.

I can reccommend anyone who wants to have a bit of fun with their engines to go down this route. I still can't believe the value. (And I'm a Scotsman.)

Bought a great job lot for 10 pounds. I got a hell of a lot of girders, little bits, got loads and load left, so much to work with. Like SM said they are excellent buys! thanks Wallace for pointing them out first of all

What are you going to build then SM?

My one piece of laxity. I never got any nuts and bolts, so I can't build anything yet.

LOL. Bit slow to get that one I was.

Anyways, SM, try bitsorpieces on ebay.

I get all of Dad's stuff from him, and pointed MM in that direction.

He sells packs of 100
