It turned out to be a good two days, with lots of interest in the display. Today (Sunday) I had a pleasant surprise when two women came to the display and took a great deal of interest in the static engines and working diorama's. From the way they were chatting to each other one seemed very knowledgeable about Mamods. We got talking and it turned out she was a teaching assistant who owned three Mamods. She said she sometimes took the her stationary into school and fired it up to show the children a working steam engine!
The big items
The display.

| That's a Mann patching roller, developed from their steam cart. Its shares a lot of bits with their wagons aswell. |

It might work Bob. If you cut the chassis down and used a pair of SR1 front rolls for the rear and a pair of tuned down front rolls on the front axle.
Its probably a non starter as it difficult to find a reasonably priced SW1 to modify. _________________ Pass the Cheese Gromit!
