im sure that because "original" parkens employees/family know the deal they  wouldnt do anything to tarnish their good name   rather do things to enhance their good name ...... pass on unused boxes to potential buyers of a new engine ???  they could just burn them.

It does not matter who owns an original box...an original box is still an original box.... It just so happens that there happens to be a mountain of mint unused original boxes...Would you be upset to find out the had a supply of pistons and cylinders or flywheels hanging around also? Caveat emptor you paid collector prices for an item that is not nearly as rare as you thought..
