By back end do you mean before christmas? Recently the Museum has been advertising out of season events so it might be in November... _________________ Si

Aye, sort of November/October time like. when we don't have alot to do! Although I ain't keen on the swear word "S**thern" being used in the title _________________ Forum Founder, Owner and Admin.

It might be a two day event. If that were to persuade you? |
Is it anywhere near Sutton? |
Would that be the Sutton in Surrey? If so the Museum is roughly 50 miles from Sutton |
Hmmm quite a way from my Grandma's then _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

You can stay over at Amberley if you wish. Either in one of the buildings (if there is room!) or a tent, car etc. _________________ Si

Enter your village/nearest town in the 'From' box, and Amberley Working Museum in the 'To' box:
http://www.rac.co.uk/web/routepla...lid=leftNav&lpos=routeplanner
Then when it comes up with Confirm locations, select:
Museum
Amberley Museum
New Barn Road
Arundel, West Sussex
BN18 9 (UK)

That's perfectly big enough MM, even to big. You could sit on the back of a Mamod SW1 on the M25 and still keep up with the traffic in the "fast lane"
Sounds good Si, only 35 miles for me |

Total distance: 234.71 miles, 377,7 km
Estimated total journey time: 5 h 5 min
... if you're lucky with traffic: 4 h 36 min
... if you're unlucky with traffic: 5 h 40 min _________________ Forum Founder, Owner and Admin.
