Thanks to all those members that helped yesterday supply information and photos in my last thread on code numbers.

So, my new website dedicated to The Mamod Steam Railway Co is up with some content. I still need photos to fill the gaps, or improve on the ones that are already there. If you have a pic that you feel would be useful and are happy for me to use, please let me know.

I particularly need pics of parts, upgrades and modified locos as getting permission from the companies might be tricky. At least I am going to see what I can get first before contacting them.

Also need pics of the MSS range from 1994 onwards, and the current Mamod range from 1996 onwards.

Please let me know if there are any inaccuracies or you can add further information to any sections.

Do take a look at the sub menu under My Collection.

Also, links to your websites are welcome.

BTW, SDGRG stands for the South Devon Garden Railway Group and I have yet to create content for this bit.

I will notify on this thread and on the news page of the website when significant content is added.

Enjoy and be critical!

Mamodevon.

Looking good.
If you want some inspiration for you mod section read these two threads.

The first one is about me upgrading my loco to 45mm and getting it running and the second is about adding an IP lubricator and Mike Chaney regulator.

Feel free to use any of my photos just put my name and under them.

Also add your website to the webring.

Looking like a great site, I'll get you those pictures soon. A guy called Peter Longfils produces these: www.rvlr.photos.gb.com/p39188131.html As an add-on to the Mamod Railway range, they are of similar proportions as the mamod locos. He also has lots of great photos of Mamod stuff: www.rvlr.photos.gb.com/c1196987_1.html

Mamodevon has also joined the webring so another quick way to find his sight is to click on the members button in the webring box at the bottom of every forum page, as he has just joined and not added the webring code to his page yet he is on page 2 of the list of members.

I will also mention positions in the list on the webring are not static.
The most popular sights are at the beginning of the list and goes down from there and the list is automatically reordered every week so the previous weeks busiest sights are at the top.

Nice photos, thanks James. I really have got my work cut out this weekend putting all these lovely pics on my websight - but keep them coming folks. Need one of the Prince of Wales, SL5 - and the prototype orginal loco pre SL1 of 1979 - anybody?

Poppy looks like she could be Pandora's sister!
