I did like the paint scheme (very War Department like) although I didn't have a very close look at the rest of it though

Its going to be apart again very soon!
It already has a pressure gauge and a whistle valve all mounted on a manifold with the regulator.
Will have a whistle, tender, non-return valve+water pump in tender, gas burner and gas tank in tender, reversing controlled from cap, fake draincocks, new back cab and lots of other detail _________________ Land Of Hope and Glory,

Cool
Forgot to mention that I also lit up the new burner and it does burn well, although I think I am going to have to trim them as I tried pushing them down further into the burner but it wouldn't budge... _________________ Si

I suspect I have already asked you before Graham but what size would I need to order from Ian? i.e. diameter of the wick _________________ Si

Cheers Graham
The first layer of blue paint has been applied
I have also fitted brass strip over the holes in the frames so that 'Victor' can be used in windy weather _________________ Si

I have 'rolled out' the wheelsets and painted the recess a colour very close to the blue the tanks carry.
The wheelsets will remain out until I have fitted the regulator. _________________ Si

Whilst I was out today, a packet turned up from IP containing 3 (despite only needing the one replacement) gland nuts turned up All free of charge, I can see why Mr. Prior prefers to use the phone!
I have also taken a picture of the painted wheelsets:
Although I am a bit hacked off as I think I may have to paint the tanks again _________________ Si
