Just finished steaming my 135 with an uprated safety valve spring - ran for nearly 50 minutes - seems OK, although it 'blew off' big style during the run so maybe I need to adjust the spring tension. Tried a few films with the engien running in semi darkness - with just the dyno bulb. Mixed results, will show the vids and stills shortly once uploaded.

YES, I had it on max - it really blow off, early in the run - I thought something was going to go. Settled down after that, it gave me a bloody fright!

I'm not suprised! I think I nearly died when the cylinder blew off my SW1 once .

I like watching Bowmans run! I've had a sneaky bid on ebay for one that goes soon

Safety valves are meant to blow off positively, otherwise it would be blowing off the whole time!

I just wish I could see it Dynamos working perfect though, so if you have a power cut you'll be alright.

MM: My house has yet to echo with the sound of a running Bowman
Steels: "Mum, I can't find the meths!"
"It's where you left it!"
"Ahh, my Bowman Dynamo has shown me the way!"
