Thanks Tony,  the Mogul looks a bit of a dog as it has just had a full strip down and rebuild.  A coat of paint and it will look like brand new.  The Bowman ran for so long I was getting worried that it would run dry, after the burner ran out there was 60ml left in the boiler.  A little less meths next time to improve on the safety margin.

My two Bowman's are still none runners.
I need to make new felt pads for them as they can move when the wheels are off the ground but can't move their own weight.

The pads are only oil wipers or are they seals as well?

I thought they helped keep the oil in and if they are soaked with oil will give a better seal.
I hope they will or else both my Bowmans are none runners.

I soak mine in oil to lubricate the cylinder wall.  I think you have problems else where.  Make sure when you replace your felts you fit a retainer behind them.  I have some spare ones I will send you a pic so you can see what I mean.

You did a great job filming them too.

Without you guys posting this stuff, I'd never see them running.
