Beautiful.  Is that some kind of water pump or lubricator on the side getting cranked?

Its a water feed pump, means you can refill with water without waiting for the boiler to cool down.

Mirko that is great. V embassassed as have been meaning to video me Dads, but been busy     . It goes at the same sedate speed- great

Did fire her up at STIA but I forgot to take pics and Sandy missed her going

Not many vertical engine have a governor.
And if they have one, they do not have a pump.
Or if they also have the pump, they do not have the special water gauge.

And i am glad to have this engine because that's a thing i wanted for years but never could afford.
So now i quickly grabbed this one as 500,- euro's is quite cheap, regarding the size and the technical features it has

Steamman, i know you have a similar engine.
I am also looking for that pressure gauge.
Those Gauges were sold seperately, as the engine itself was quite expensive.
So you always could buy the pressure gauge extra for this engine when you saved some money....

This engine has on top in the front a special "screw-in-screw".
You can take the smaller srew out and put insted that pressure gauge.

Maybe one day i'll get that pressure gauge, too

That is a lovely engine Mirko, and as you say packed with lots of features.

Great to see running.

Splendid, stately, historical, original (it looks unmolested: the best result)

It pulls the load, it chuffs, and most remarkable of all to me:
its bearings are well fitted--no clatter or clack.

This Bing is in perfect working order!  It's a great thing.
What it would cost if it could be made again today?
A lot!  It's real quality.   Wonderful conservation job, Mirko.

Thanks for the super video too!
