Welcome to the forum Trog. Quite a few of us have SEL engines, so anything you need to know, just ask and we'll do our best!

A big warm welcome, Dan, from St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.  This forum is a goldmine of information.  When I first joined a little  over a month ago I didn't know a Mamod from a Mocha!

Now I have just completed my first steam boat.

Hi Trog, welcome from Gloucestershire.

SEL engines are great fun, and dont be embarrassed to ask the most basic seeming of questions. Even the most expert (of which I am not one   ) are tripped up sometimes

Ive not seen anyone being bitten for asking basics.

Besides most topics vere    after about a page anyway- its all good fun
