I hope you are having fun with your steam turbine......it should be in your hands by now I think...I thought of you when I found the following BIG boat... a big tug does over 5 feet long and in need of a power plant!! It may not be what you are aiming for...but thought I would throw it in!

Ahhhhh! I've not seen the turbine yet or any of the other engines that i've bought over the last two and a bit months as i've been working away. BUT! I arrived home yesterday and tomorrow i will head to see my father who has been having them all arrive at his house! He say's there's little cupboard space left There will be postings of all of them in the week to come so watch out 
That is a big old tug isn't it?! Interesting to see what it goes for as not so many people have space for a five foot tug! Pick up only is a pain as i'm miles away from it. |

My father built a 5 ft TID tug - that went well with a Stuart D 10 - fond memories-

What was the boat that this mighty looking turbine came from? It looked like a fantastic museum quality model!
Looks like you need a trip to the National Maritime museum for some inspiration as to what kind of vessel should house the turbine. |

That boat is a dream to look at - I so want to visit the UK and go to the museum where she resides!!
Not being born in England - ( My grandfather was the first in our family born in the states) it's significance escaped me- It has a WOW factor beyond description - I love the swept stack and the tail and bow angles!!
