not really MTA, you just have to scrub through the pain barrier then it's plain sailing towards the end

Does ache a bit though..

polishing Polar Bear's dome at Amberley takes it out of you She's prone to priming, so we always cover the paintwork and dome for the first few runs with a cloth

Just be careful you don't start to rub the paint away around the boiler when polishing

Mine unscrews and reveals the steam pipe and spring, whats the Mamod arrangement? Back to Polar Bear's dome, if you have something that big to polish, pour brasso over it, rather than on a rag, and then use the rag to polish it

The flywheel indeed turned out nice. It was quite dirty, and looked like it had some kind of gold paint on it, but it came off easily. Great thing is that the flywheels on my bowman have the same thing, so now I know I cam probably gat those nice and shiny too

I'm a bit less happy with that scorching. It was everyday begging me to paint it, but I resisted
