thought i would give them a run this evening and they  both ran very well especially my SE1 it went like the clappers even when i took the burner out took a while to stop. for some reason the SE2 which also ran well didnt run as well and didnt pick up half as much speed. anyone have any ideas why this may be. sorry about the vid quality was me camera phone which is not fantastic.

Great runners there Willsy.

The SE2 might not run as well due to wear. They can leak at the throttle lever.

If there are no visible leaks, try turning the piston over as they can wear along with the cylinder to form a mate.

Other thing might be the trunnion bolt/nut is too tight?

No doubt about it the SE series is just plain fun to operate. Great engines and great fun there.

I have noticed that with mine, the flames show up in the Videos even more than to the eye when running them.
