changing my tugboat from electrically driven to steam requires a new controller at the moment i have a futuba T2ER Transmitter,
transmitting to a Futaba R152JE 2 channel reciever. this is operating a Futaba 3001 which is connected to the rudder and a digifleet FPS 230B which controls speed through an Electric Motor.

I now dont need a speed controller but instead need something to control the steam regulator valve between macsteam boiler and saito engine and something else to operate direction of engine rotation.

Can u have three channels on one transmitter?
What devices do i need for the other two functions?

As always i'm looking for your guidance

You will need a 3 channel or better TX and RX.....and 3 servos ...

That looks excelent value, but it's currently unavailable. On expected delivery dates they say:

yes i noticed that and the makes they have in stock only seem to come with one servo.
