Is it ok to use a Mamod Mobile burner in a Wilesco traction engine or could this melt solder and cause damage?

You wouldn't be able to fit one in Unless you make a purpose built holder... Meths should be fine to use, but do so at your own risk!

I think Erik blew a steam pipe out using meths, so be careful!

I use a Mamod vap burner in my 1978 Wilesco D45 (the upright one), and it runs like an absolute demon!

I have used a Bowman meths heater to fire my Wilesco D455 vertical...ran fine, ran fast!!!
