Gentlemen,

Having got back interested into these toy engines, I always hankered after a Bowman 101, I have a M122 somewhere, but the steam pipe had been badly repaired and it always ran wet.

Sadly I'm skint, but I do have a large Jensen (#25) that I've never really liked. I got it imported in 1990 (new), its never been steamed but it is 110V. I know what it cost then, and how much they are now.

Anyone fancy a swop for ideally for a Bowman E/M101, or possibly a M122?. Im looking for something solid and must be a runner. I'd actually ideally prefer an original engine rather than one that has been tarted up. Anyway I'm being fussy, dont let it put you off.

Anyways, have a think, if anyone is interested, e-mail me on hedd_jones@yahoo.co.uk. I can send pics if required.

Hi again BC (sorry your name is just too long) .

I don't have any Bowman engines to trade with you but if you already own a Bowman M122 that needs fixing but don't want to do it yourself there are several people here that will fix it for you, you would just need to work out a price or trade with them to fix it.

I am restoring a full size real steam roller, and I dont have the time to restore a toy. I just want to use them!
