Yesterday was 'Barbouilleur''s last day in regular service before her ten yearly overhaul. She didn't raise steam well at all, we can blame the office on that front as they always order poor quality, crap foreign coal that produces a lot of smoke and tar Although after a tea break she had risen well and the fire was burning nicely! Photo opportunities arose later in the day, my favourite shot being the last one in this gallery on my recently set up Fotopic site:

I also created an accompanying video. My second choice for the soundtrack was 'Another One Bites the Dust'

Oh well, back to nice clean engines that don't represent industrial railways like Barbouilleur did

Nice loco, I guess it'll come back after Peter? I also like the photo on the 'Pottery Line'.

The Smith's aren't going to touch it for a couple of years as they want to get their other engines running. Namely the Baguley and the Brush Electric

1) After it has been cleaned (!) we are probably going to put it on the 'clean restoration' road of the Exhibition Hall.

2) The overhaul isn't going to take 10 years!

Because a full boiler certificate runs out after 10 years, thus the engine needing a re-tube, and it has the name 10 year overhaul, in BR steam days they'd probaly finish a re-tube and have it fully examined in about a month.
