Had glorious sunny weather down South today. Driving the Bullock in the sun with a scale goods train, could it get any better?

Nice picture Steve, just shows what Preserved Railways are all about. Steam, near to full platforms, people enjoying themselves I visited the NYMR just after SNG had been returned to service, so I was quite pleased to see it as when I first visited the NYMR it was the first engine I travelled behind

I can remeber it before the overhaul. When I next go up there I'm going to be alowed to walk throught the tender !

Sir Nigel Gresly supposedly used his chairs from his hous to work out how wide the walkway would have to be.

Apparently he lined them up and squeex through them

i travelled behind gresley when i was younger before its overhaul
blue peter was there on that day too

i hope to see her again as im going to the steam gala in sep
