That's not a Mamod, it has simlified walcharets!!! A mamod is an ocsillating steam engine!

I've seen photos of the Mamod Wilesco hybrid before but never a vid before.
Someone put a lot of work into that, I like it.

It is a mamod, the new mamod engines have piston valve (fixed cylidners) so does that mean its not a mamod, just becuase the design has changed doesnt mean its not a mamod.

If a companychanged there name each time a model came out we could end up with a hamid MM2

It would be really difficult james to do that. You need experiance with complicated valve gears and valve timings etc

Wonder if you could get a roundhouse set of cylinders and valve gear and use that

Would be a bit big for a Mamod I think and they are expensive £94 for the cylinder and £83 for the valve gear.
