Yep, that is just like mine.
Looking at the pictures on the box so far I have made the ferris wheel and the large swing boat.
I have posted videos of them on here.
I find I need to gear things down for running the models from a mamod TE1a, but you have slower and more powerful engines so will possibly be ok. _________________ Chris

Here are some reposted videos...
Note that the "gear box" between the TE and the model is my addition to slow it all down a bit, and the chains and sprockets are additions. I also changed how the mechanism on the swingboat works to give more of a swing. Alll part of the fun _________________ Chris

Great one Clinton.
That will go nicely with steam engines, like Chris's has.
Did you get it off ebay? _________________

I tried to buy from a couple of different websites but were all out of stock. I think it might be discontinued.
I then spotted one on ebay and bought it there.
So if anyone wants a set it might be worth getting it shortly in case it is discontinued. Considering the price of steam engine accessories I think this meccano set is very good value, and so far seems well matched for running from steam engines (although some alterations generally required).
So far I have just made the two models. They take so long to put together that I get reluctant to take them to bits to build something new! Also I have to find the time play. Good toy for a rainy day. _________________ Chris

Be like me then Chris, never take them apart and just go buy more second hand Meccano on ebay so you can keep building. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm
