|
I've just started making a website about Australian toy steam engines.
At the moment it has virtually nothing on it but I plan to add to it slowly over the next few weeks / months, with the idea of making this a one stop site for info on Australian toy steam as at the moment there is next to nothing out there.
I know I have the same template as several other members here but to be honest its the only one any good on freewebs for toy steam and I did look at all there other templates.
Don't get too excited yet as it only has info on the Kookaburra steam engine on it at the moment.

Ahhhh, for once I got to be the first Guestbook entry in a new website!!! It looks fine Tony and your focus on finding and documenting the "lost" toy steam brands of OZ is a great idea. It will be fun to see it populated with more pics. etc. YouTube or Photobucket links will help you keep the megabyte load under control if you opt for videos too...which I think you should.
cheers,

| That's a great idea Tony. It'll be good to have such hard to find information all in one place, and very informative to those of us who don't know much about Australian engines! |

I hope to be putting Weldon and Parken (photos courtesy of flywheel) and the Steamco Overtype photos up in a few days when Rog has taken some pictures for me.
I've got a lot of information to put up but just as much is still unkown so I can see this will be a long term project and more details will be added to it as they come to light. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

It's a great idea Tony. Any chance you are going to have a little section on NZ engines. The forum could help you with quite a few from there. _________________ Manx, the mobile man |

I was thinking about that today and once I have all my OZ stuff up will have a look at putting some of the NZ engines up but to do that justice I would probably have to speak very nicely to our NZ members as my knowledge of NZ engines is pretty slim. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm
