It's a great idea Tony. Any chance you are going to have a little section on NZ engines. The forum could help you with quite a few from there.

I was thinking about that today and once I have all my OZ stuff up will have a look at putting some of the NZ engines up but to do that justice I would probably have to speak very nicely to our NZ members as my knowledge of NZ engines is pretty slim.

Good one Tony, Besides the engines you have mentioned are there currantly other engines being produced in Australia

There are a few companies that are making model steam engines but not Toy steam engines that I'm aware of.
I will probably add these model companies to the list in the next few days.

No updates still says mid this year on their website and that has passed.

Just realised I missed one OZ company on my website 'Victor' will add that tonight but they are so rare we are unlikely ever to see one.

Have now added Parken and Weldon photos and the few droplets of information I have about these brands.
Thanks Flywheel for the photos.

My pleasure, thanks Tony, now we at least have a basis to work from.

Cheers

Great idea Tony, it fills the gap in the hobby nicely.

Well done.

Never heard of a hussinger but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
I had never heard of a Weldon until a few months ago and now 2 of our members have one.
I'm wouldn't be at all surprised if there are other obscure brands out there and they will only come to light when one turns up on ebay or a member finds one at an antique shop.

No feel free to put a link on your site, all I ask is you send me an email or PM when you do so I know who is linking to it so when I get to my links section I can return the favour.

I've started on the Renown section but photos won't be all up for a week or two as I'm in the process of stripping down my Renown steam roller and repairing it.

Oh and SW jealousy is the sincerest form of flattery.
