List it on eBay in toys and games>steam, start it at 200 quid and see what happens. Plenty of pictures taken in good light showing all the good and bad bits will get you the right buyer.

Please don't take it apart, it's a cynical bit of profiteering to do to something like this and it may well not fetch the money you thought.

Not in this case it isn't. Those parts were never intended to go together in the first place. In fact, offering the parts separately would be doing a favour because it's unlikely that any buyer will want both the hull and the plant.

I'd have it as it is, and I stand by my argument that it's been like that a very long time, possibly even from new, and doesn't deserve breaking. Whether they were intended to be together is irrelevant, they are together and I'd love to see how well it works.

If you have a price in mind that you would be happy with, offer it on the forum, you will save a lot in eBay fees.

If you list it as "Clyde Model Dockyard Steam Launch" it will attract any interested buyers. Even if you start it as low as 99p it will soon rise to the appropriate price.  Whoever buys it then has to decide whether to butcher it or not.

The initial photo is not exactly self explanatory.
