Although most of my money went into my serious 5Inch project I couldnīt resist to get a scratch built "Kraftlok" for a very reasonable price . 50 € were well spent for this engine suppose

cheers Joe

I am impressed that the exhaust is piped to the stack. The similar Bing and Bowman I have just exhaust from the port block. Looks interesting. Mike

This one was completely scratch built by the grandfather of the previous owner, who told me that this one was made around 1920 with a BING "KRAFTLOK" in mind as she ispowetred by a single cylinder. She was so cheap that it wouldīve been a sin to llet her go 50€ for a working live steam gauge 1 engine? Whowould resist that offer? I couldnīt and maybe some of you undestand why even though I got into the serious 5inch stuff now

cheers Joe

It's cute a good spot too.

I can understand the why bit indeed and I am very green over your larger gauge interest oh to be rich enough and young enough again

Hi Steph,
donīt worry I got my big one after a Long fifteen years of saving and patiently waiting  It was a nice time with the gauge 1 stuff to be on the live steam rail track at least until my dream of a live steam 5 incher gets true this month. I will never give up my gauge 1 ones so small scale live steam will ever be an Option for me .

cheers <joe
