I'm going to be driving near Jeannette PA next week. I know some on this forum have visited the Jensen factory. Is there a protocol for doing so? Do you call beforehand to see if you can drop by or just knock on the door?

Thanks!

In the UK here but I would ring before to see if Jensen are ok with you calling in    it is the most courteous and polite thing to do

Yes, just call beforehand. Atleast that is what I was told when I went to visit.

I would call them first just to make sure it's ok.

If phone calls do nothing , possibly PM Cedge on here and I'm sure you'll be guided through the protocol, and have a coffee with the lads

As most would know, Cedge lives 700 miles from Jensen.

A call to the factory is the only way to go.

Communicating across 700 miles is no huge thing when the internet is functioning properly. It does, however,  prevent me from walking onto the shop floor to personally check the progress of orders, current inventory levels and any shipping status.

We do enjoy these visits along with the break from routine that they provide, but we also enjoy meeting those who support our efforts so loyally. We do ask that you give Dorita a call, ahead of time, just so she can arrange for time to share the factory with you. She would still find the time, if you didn't call, but giving her enough notice to rearrange the schedule makes things less disruptive and allows the her and the crew to share a bit more time with you.

That is great to know, you dont get such a warm welcome or invitations like that from all manufacturers.  It makes me want to go out and buy another Jensen!

Yes, I stopped by Jensen this Tuesday, and picked up the new 70D engine! While I have watched the videos many times, it was very cool to visit in person. It really feels like stepping back into time. And it was very neat to see some parts sitting around for the Jensen 50. I just have to wait a little longer for that one.
