I'm looking for a mamod steam roadster or something similar. All I really want is a boiler, frame, wheels. It doesnt have to have an engine but But I woudl like most of it to be there. I have some ideas for it but wouldnt dare to do it to my almost New SA1.
So if someone spots one cheap on ebay, like the one that I forgot about a day ago. Please tell me.
Thanks _________________ Best Regards, Ranger Moore |

There is a guy that lives about a half an hours drive from here that owns three of those cars. I have never seen him drive it into the river though. _________________ Your life is an occasion...Rise to it |

Either I will have to build one from an old beat up mamod SA1 or make one with 2 engines, I personally think that I would rather build one up from scratch with 2 engines. If so my plan would be to get my midwest and find a cheap wilesco roller or TE and using the boiler, engine, gears, and various other parts from both. The wilesco wil give me power on land but the midwest will open it up on the water.
BTW, If people were not NUTS nothing would ever be discovered/created. _________________ Best Regards, Ranger Moore |

Apply paddles to the wheels. there is a TE1A on Ebay right now that does not have a scuttle or burner, it might go cheap.

I think that all you would have to do is build a hull and maybe lower the wheels, with paddles on them _________________ Your life is an occasion...Rise to it |
