On a recent visit to the north east we visited the Newbiggin Maritime Centre  on display of assorted model fishing boats I spotted this it looks  like its never been sailed

Now that's a great photo with the boat sat on the windowsill with the brilliant outlook through the glass as a background

Yes especially as the window shelf was about two foot above my head until I checked the camera I had no idea if I had got the pictures

I'm not totally convinced it is a Bowman. There appears to be a stud type speed controller just abaft of the hatch which implies an electric motor. It could be a genuine bowman but modified or it might be one of Basil Harley's Celia May replicas built from scratch as an electric launch.

You are right it looks like a forward reverse switch if I had been able to have a close look I would probably have noticed it and it does explain why it looks so clean never the less still a nice boat
