im just about to order some bits from pps including an adjustable safety valve for my mamod loco. can someone tell me what pressure is best to set it at or does it come ready set at a sensible pressure?

It comes set at a pressure. I cant remember what it is but its more than the standard one

I would leave it IMHO

Its set at around 20-25 PSI
