James all you need now is to scrounge yourself some lineshafting, leather belts anda lister engine (maybe a nice tank cooled A or B ) Set it all up in a spare barn with a few more machines-sawbench and things. And youve got yourself a nice old looking farm workshop

I got quite a few old oil engines, but I ain't a big fan on them...

We got a few belt driven tools aswell, saw bench and all that.

If I can scrounge this here threshing drum, I'll use the binder I scrounged to cut a few acres of wheat, and then thresh it out using the drum and my mate's portable

Just had another idea.

If you carry the lineshaft one outside the building. You can have a pulley on the end to drive other machines-threshers, bailers and any other things you have.

The richer farmers used to do that sometimes. Instead of having a portable or TE to do things. They would have a stationary steam engine doing something like this

Use that one then

Or your garage. Lineshaft and machinery on each side. Engine at one end. Walkway down middle
