Has anyone in OZ bought a Jensen safety valve from the OZ Jensen seller, Bettersounds/Clocksngifts?

Just after a spare to turn into an adapter for an air line.

If not, then I can purchase one from Jensens site. In which case I'll order extra spares to make it worthwhile.

Hmm, which I could say I'll order a #51 to make it worthwhile <sigh>

If you do have to order directly from Jensen order a few extra SV as I'll take one for my Scorpion and then you can stick a couple on ebay and advertise them as 'Jensen, Scorpion compatible SVs' and I bet they will sell well as there are a lot of Scorpion engines about with no SV and as luck has it Jensen ones fit.

When I was converting some to compressed air, I was thinking of this, but found a very simple solution. Buy abunch of rubber hose for your airline that is just too big and it will "screw" into the threads. It is also completely air-tight.

I've converted Jensen and Wilesco safety valves into perfect points to connect an airline.

As Nick notes however, you can often accomplish the same thing using hose itself.  For several of my engines where I don't have such an airline fitting, I simply cut a short 1/2 inch piece of copper tubing and insert it inside the end of a piece of silicone airline tubing.  Having the copper insert gives some resistance to the silicone making it possible to literally thread it into the safety valve hole or other connection point.  I run a Stuart Beam this way all the time and it works perfectly.

I guess it would be wasteful, but couldnt one cut the top off of a Whistle and clamp an air line to it? It would even have an on/off function.

Not really required guys. Run the engine on air by hooking the line up to the exhaust and open the whistle valve.

Unless you've a 35, 45, 60, 70, 76, 85, or 95G

...anyone ever tried running a 95G on air?
