This is where I will be posting my engine arrivals for 2008. I have received 2 today. One is a common one and the other is a "mystery Jensen". I will take pics and post them shortly.

| I will start with the more common engine to keep the Jensen fans wondering. |

Not sure if this is the actual factory soldering as it is very shiny:

Looks very much as if it has been re-soldered.
Nice pictures _________________ Les - Old age isn't so bad when you consider the alternatives.

Here it is uncovered. It doesn't look like much, is dirty, and missing fuel tray, whistle, and SV, and boiler strap is missing a rivot. But there are a few unique things about this one I've never seen.
By the way, it is a Jensen #60.
If the seller would have taken it off that wood base, shipping may have been cheaper and smaller. |

Here are some side views:
Notice there is no regulator on the steam line. The flywheel looks to have not been factory painted. The base is very strange to me. It is very square, I haven't seen this with Jensens before. |

However, the part that made me look like this: , came when I went to see if the sight glass was there.
The ebay auction did not show the sight glass end.
I have a 60 with a solid face (no glass) and there are many with a porthole glass, but I've never seen this.
What is it you ask, it's a mystery. |
