This is where I will be posting my engine arrivals for 2008. I have received 2 today. One is a common one and the other is a "mystery Jensen". I will take pics and post them shortly.

I will start with the more common engine to keep the Jensen fans wondering.

Not sure if this is the actual factory soldering as it is very shiny:

Looks very much as if it has been re-soldered.
Nice pictures

Here it is uncovered. It doesn't look like much, is dirty, and missing fuel tray, whistle, and SV, and boiler strap is missing a rivot. But there are a few unique things about this one I've never seen.

By the way, it is a Jensen #60.

If the seller would have taken it off that wood base, shipping may have been cheaper and smaller.

Here are some side views:

Notice there is no regulator on the steam line. The flywheel looks to have not been factory painted. The base is very strange to me. It is very square, I haven't seen this with Jensens before.

However, the part that made me look like this: , came when I went to see if the sight glass was there.

The ebay auction did not show the sight glass end.

I have a 60 with a solid face (no glass) and there are many with a porthole glass, but I've never seen this.

What is it you ask, it's a mystery.
