|
|
Gents,
just seen this in an antique shop locally. Its advertised as an 'Old Meccano Motor'
It is Meccano? If not any ideas?
Is it a Motor or a dynamo?
Will it work as a dynamo?
Sadly its behind glass so I cant fiddle without asking first

The description said it was a dynamo.

Indeed, perhaps I should have said I'm not entirely sure it is meccano.

| It should work as a dynamo in theory, but it might not be a very good one in practice. The magnet on mine has lost most of its magnetism, in fact it will only run now if I put another magnet on top of it. |
