I really think it's time the forum contacted Mamod and that they desparatly need an open day!! with enthusiasts there on the day to hold their hand and show them the way forward.
What better advertising could you get than us lot turning up en mass like STIA, and steaming their products for 6 hours. Also, they could do a spot of direct selling!!

I wish they would put a "news" section on their site, showing what they are up to. I hate all this mystery nonsence company's come up with, it would be good of them just to post pics of their latest stuff in development. I know its probably so competitors don't get the better of them and its understandable it just makes me hop from foot to foot having to wait
A ploughing engine would grab my attention. It wouldn't have to be fancy with all the working gubbins and all, just as long as it LOOKED like one! |

I did hear a few years ago they might be doing a ploughing engine after the piston valve TEs were released. So who knows _________________ Land Of Hope and Glory,

I don't know, but Mamod seem to have spent about 5 years working on their mobiles and now the last 2 to 3 working on their trains. I have a feeling it may be the Stationary Models turn again for some development. The basic SP range is now nearly 30 years old, so maybe something new here. _________________ Manx, the mobile man |

Its not much... ite belt driven off flywheel so you got to remove the belt each time.
I did have a go at a windlass ploughing set once powered by my Wilesco Locomobile. But all ended in failure _________________ Land Of Hope and Glory,

Shame they can't really afford to give their designer more freedom
If they did then I'm sure he'd be turfing them out by the bucket load! _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

Aye, if i ever had a lot of money. I'd give the Terry family a offer the couldn't refuse to buy Mamod.
Then i'd be the designer aswell as the owner. I could back myself _________________ Land Of Hope and Glory,
