I just found out today LGB has just requested bankruptcy protection due to finacial problems.
They better not go under as I've decided to use their track for my garden railway.
So far have only bought $100 of their track but eventually will need over $1000 worth of track.
If you go to their website and click on the LGB news link it will tell you what is happenning.
Here is the link.

IF you have any LGB 45mm brass track you don't want I would be interested as long as postage to Australia isn't too high.
To give you an idea of new LGB brass track in OZ costs.
Straight 1.2m lengths cost about $42 (16.75 pounds) and individual curved bits at 1125mm radius about $22 (8.75 pounds)

I don't want ANY of my LGB track, I'll tell you how much I've got, and what the RRP of it is, then give you that price including postage, as I imagine it will be high.

Postage will be high but as long as it works out cheaper than new track that will be good.
If surface works out cheaper that will be ok as my loco will not be ready to run for atleast another 3 or 4 months
