I'm sorry, but I don't think it's a G&G, G&G models (at least the early ones) didn't had a throttle on it. IF it was a G&G, the boiler end caps would be silver soldered on it.

It should come up good though,
I dropped one down the stairs, it dented the pipes, firebox and base _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

Have finally got round to sorting the base out. Dent is almost gone, the lip on the bottom of the raised part of the base still isnt quite right. Bashed it with a hammer while the base was resting on the right sized piece of wood
Main thing that took time was getting the base to sit flat, manipulate one bit then the other leg wasnt straight .
Pics should follow in the next few days.
Next will be the clean up, surprisingly there looks to be only one solder that needs re doing- just as the pipe comes out of the steam control valve, this unscrews fine, whistle is possibly stuck in though.
They are sturdy thing these Mamods
One question after I strip the base what colour is a good match for the base of these
Also the underneath is actually pretty good. i am tempted to leave that be, just be careful with the nitromors |
