The embossed boiler ends can make dating difficult becouse although they were used between 1900-1909 they could also be found on engines produced between 1924-1932. I have such an example in my collection.

The fact the base is in such could condition makes me feel it is later than 1909 although Im most likely wrong!!!!!!

I wanted to bid on that one too, but the timing was off for me. The darned banker thinks that I need money in my account before I go and buy things, has no idea of what fun is.
