When you said you had a LGB starter set, you did not say what rolling stock you have - coaches or wagons. The coaches are very German, and thus would not look great behind a Mamod, which is basically Welsh.

I do not have any LGB stock, just Faller E-Train which is a bit smaller I believe.

Ask steamyjim as he has 45mm locos, although I've not seen any of his rolling stock posted on here.

No you don't have to love Mamods to be a member here.
I only own two stationary Mamods and I will be selling one soon.
But I do own a te1a, sr1, roadster and Mamod two locos.

good idea

the mamod would baulk at the two LGB coaches unless it was totally uprated.  Then it would have no problem.

Sorry, I was just going by your previous posting.

must look good pulling LGB starter set coaches

As Tony has said, you don't have to love Mamods to be a member here. So any postings on steam Locomotives are very welcome here, as this forum seems to have been somewhat quiet of late.

Good luck with the Mortimer. We've not seen one on this forum yet I believe, so reading about your experiences with it will be a pleasure.

A Mamod will go well with the IP Eng Locos and stock, so hope you are successful getting one of those in the future.
