Went to Ryhope steam engine open day 3 years ago on Aug bank hol, and there was an exhibition of steam engines there, only a few, the pumping engine is worth a look as well.

Near to Sunderland, so not far from you

Thanks I will but all the good stuff like STIA and all the good steam fairs are almost always as far away from me as possible while still remaining in this country

NO WAY I am terrible at exibiting and would probley forget to do the saety valve on 1 of the engines right and then have it fly off in a great jet of steam

its happened before besides my parents dont have time for me and my steamy obsessions and I would never be able to organise it myself

but I will ask

Are there any forum members near you that could help set it up and bring some engines?
