Well, I'm sure I've said before that Lincolnshire was one of the only counties in Britain to have it's own full set of farm animals. The Lincolnshire Longwool sheep, Lincolnshire Black horse, Lincolnshire Curly Coat pig, Lincoln Red cow, and the Lincolnshire Buff chicken.
The Black, Buff, and Curly Coat are all extinct.
Well, the Buff WAS. They managed to breed back the Lincolnshire Buff chicken, and they're still very rare!
I've got a brudy hen at the mo, and I had a gander on ebay for fertilised eggs. 6 eggs for £7.50 plus post! But you don't know if you're getting cocks or hens, so I'm after a few laying hens, if I can't get them then I'll get the eggs!
Anyone else think I'm getting obsessed? 
Now... to persuade the parents to let me have a Lincoln beeyast!

If I get them in egg form, they'll be sat on by a Pekin hen (about a third of the size LOL)
