Hello All
Great site you have here!
My name is Rick. I go by the screen name rake60 on several other forums.
I've been a machinist by trade for about 30 years and found out that it
can be a relaxing hobby at home building small scale steam engines from bar stock.
The lack of support for the hobby led me to create the forum Home Model Engine Machinist
I feel our sites are quite compatible.
Great work Admins and Mods, you have something to be proud of here!

Hi Rick,
I'm a member of your forum too and although your forum and this are about slightly different areas they do fit together well.
I'm the one that is asking all the newbie questions about machining on your forum at the moment, although I seem to spend even more times reading over old posts there as it's full of great tips for people starting out with a lathe like me.
Glad to see you here.
