Really nice James...good buy from Moose and a smooth runner.  Yes, might need a SV spring and maybe gaskets...but otherwise it seems a fine runner.

When I steamed mine I didn't have the right burner, so mine ran slow as well mate.

It looks slow, but that will be sorted with a stronger safety valve spring.

Make sure those pistons are well lubricated too, as that makes a big difference.

Aye they were mate. I took it to bits, oiled it, put it together, filled the oilers, and kept oiling it through the run!

Great video Jimbo!

A stronger spring would probably make it go a lot quicker!

Looking good James!

With a decent spring on the SV that'll tear along....also worth noting that Bowman burners don't really like it outsoide.

Bit of video of mine just after I'd finished fixing it a few years ago, follow the link. Running on esbit in the vid - didn't have the proper burner yet. Your pistons are in better nick than mine, so yours will run better.
