From Hawkesbay New Zealand . Married to a very understanding good woman.aged in mid late 40s. I primarily collect meccano and Hornby clockwork trains O gauge but also have a reasonable collection of other construction sets like meccano. ie Temsi, marklin, primus, ezybilt, buzbuilder etc and also other o gauge clockwork trains . Karl Bub and others.and of course steam engines.also have a couple of clockwork floor trains of unknown origin I would like to get a boxed no 10 meccano set hopefully a blue/gold from 1930s but untill i do have to put up with my 1950s 9 and about 26 other boxed sets but have a rather large amount of other meccano for building with.
In my spare time work on a Dairy farm with Pedigree Jersey cows and also sheep and We have 5 children at home so not a lot of time to spare and any spare money My wife Michele uses for her china Honey pot/bee collection |

Hi from Australia.
Can I ask what your user name means?
Its just their is an Australian brand of toy steam engines called Scorpion that I'm rather fond of of.
If you have any Meccano models you are rather proud of post them in the Meccano section as we all like to see what other people have built. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like a very interesting collection that you have there. I think quite a few of us on here are interested in Meccano, and I'm sure we'd like to see some pictures. |

| only about 600 for wool and bred to southdown/suffolk/and poll dorset as terminal sires for meat not into showing sheep. but my children show Jersey calves in the local competitions and do quite well. And as for meccano models I only have a whole lot of small ones made up to show the changes through the years and meccano copies nothing of any size as not enough time and little fingers like to help!! will take photOs of them and when have will post a link |
