IIRC The tanks already have some extra steel inside, I may put some extra weight under the cab floor - would help a bit with the general weight distribution too, but thats a job for another day. _________________ It's a Mamod Jim, but not as we know it!

Titan, do you have any photos of the loco showing the cab interior and the linkage to the reverser at the front? Semi thinking of adding R/C to my IP Jane as it'd make running it a little more pleasant as the layout is at ground level and some parts are inaccessible - You can guess which parts it decides to stop at!

These are pictures of the R/C linkage:
The last shows the space on the right where the servo sits, the shaft just fitting through the hole.
The cylinder for the dynamo is in fact from a jenny wren, by Philcraft. I really hope that I can find the time to get it going, but too many things on at the moment! _________________ It's a Mamod Jim, but not as we know it!

| What size whistle did you fit in your Titan? I was thinking about fitting one to a Mamod Loco. Nice to be able to let off some of that steam and make some noise rather than pop safety valves too. |

It runs the full length of the side tank, so it must be somewhere in the region of 4 inches long by 3/8 diameter. _________________ It's a Mamod Jim, but not as we know it!

No, it was one of a batch of about ten or so that were made by M.G.M. Engineering as an add on for mamod locos, hence why it is exactly the maximum length that will fit inside the side tank - to give it the lowest note possible. _________________ It's a Mamod Jim, but not as we know it!
