I am interested in roundhouses millie and was wondering does she run out of water before gas.

probably not.

buy an edrig,  far better,  its not slip ecentric,  more robust,   and  generally are very good.

cheaper!

Normally they would run out of gas first, if it stops and the pressure has dropped right off and the gas burner is still going. Just turn the gas off and when it's cool enough to refil, refill with gas and water and steam it up again.

Boilers are silver soldered so even if the water runs out first, you wont have any problems, so long as you don't continue to fire it dry!

ive got a bertie. it is roughly yhe same engine with a few slight differences. it is a fantasctic loco, goes on forever, spares are readily available, the after sales service is brill and yes it will run out of gas before water
