I own two web sites.

My personal web site started out as an antique small engine
site.  Over time it shifted more to being a model engine building
information site.. It is www.rake60.com

Since misery loves company I started a second web site as a
free public forum for the poor souls with the addiction of
building home machined running model engines.
It is www.homemodelenginemachinist.com

That site is one I'm quite proud of.

Rick

Just had a look at your personal website. I do like those small engines. Always good to see someone willing to love and repair them

I just had a look at your site and it looks as if your Grizzly G4000 lathe was made in the same factory as my Hafco AL50GB lathe.
Its painted a different colour and there are a few minor changes but pretty much the same lathe.
I originally was going to buy the AL50GA but was told to wait for the B model as it was coming out of a different factory with higher quality control and since receiving mine and comparing to the AL50GA I can see I made the right choice.

Mine pretty much worked out of the box although as I get more proficient I may find I need to make a few more adjustments.

I will need to do some more research but it looks like accessories that are for the G4000 lathe should fit mine which is nice to know.

Thanks
Tony
